AI Threats Are Already Here, but RAPTOR Keeps CIOs Ahead

AI Is Moving Faster Than CIOs Can Adapt

Augment What You Have. Better Together.

At the end of 2025, Gartner Research reported insights culled from discussions with 12,000 CIOs. But that was 2025.

It is now clear, after recent releases of the latest round of new AI models, that we’ll be mining for “rare earth minerals” on Mars, perhaps before Greenland. How? AI can now create itself. We thought the pace of AI change was fast before; now it is lightning fast…

And not only for the good guys, the pace of AI impersonation innovation and nefarious application building for the bad guys is also perhaps even faster, if that is even possible.

Rocky the Raptor here, RPost’s cybersecurity product evangelist. While I had planned to report on all of the insights culled from discussions with 12,000 CIOs, considering the pace of AI change by the nefarious, who have the time and no risk to experiment, one blunder is one too many!

I’ll therefore focus here today on the CIO insights most related to marketplace fears around AI taking over most people’s jobs. RPost, through its analyst recognized innovative approaches to cybersecurity, document controls, eSignatures, and workflow automation platforms, contributes to solving elements of Gartner’s CIO-reported five most common "pain points."

Here are three examples:

  1. Data, analytics, and AI: Gartner reports on the importance of having AI-ready data aligned to targeted use cases.

With RPost's RAPTOR AI security, RPost uniquely generates new protocol data about how messages, documents and transaction links are being interacted with, even beyond your endpoints in the normal course of business sharing. The tech continuously analyzes this new AI-ready data that does not exist but for RAPTOR technology, and then adds real-time third-party risk intelligence (AI use case) by actively hunting for third parties that are either maliciously or often inadvertently leaking sensitive information to threat actors, remotely killing the leaks before seen, and attributing the leaks to individual leakers and leak recipients to threat actors.

  1. Modernizing the application portfolio: Gartner reports on CIO challenges relating to legacy systems that may create security vulnerabilities that are difficult to address.

Three areas where RPost technology can help CIOs reshape applications are:

  • Extending ERP and business process platforms that send email, transforming the outbound email to Registered Email messages with active threat hunting and certified proof, plus more.
  • Extending internal document and information rights with RDocs for AI-infused remote control of content without any storage (extending other DRM, Purview, or other systems).
  • Enhancing outbound email security gateways with “Double DLP” controls, data leak pre-emption, even when leaks are happening at third parties and beyond. RPost was recently named in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Email Security Platforms, which recommends adding these types of complementary layers to close security gaps and add more business value.
  1. Cost optimization: Gartner reports CIOs should seek to reduce costs proactively to deliver savings...invest in digital transformation to keep the organization competitive in the digital age.

RPost's RSign eSignature and workflow automation platform, with its AI security, named by analysts as world-leading, is an example of how RPost works to actively support process modernization with more security. From a cost perspective, RPost guarantees its RSign cost is 50% less than any other similar sounding platform; real, proactively delivered savings with a managed transformation program.
